St. Jacobs-Traveller's Unique Experience

St. Jacob's is an amazingly beautiful small town in the west of Toronto and within an hour and a half  from Toronto, a beautiful town with with lots to do and see. St Jacob's prides it self for maintaining its unique traditions and culture.

 It is renowned for Canada’s largest year round Farmers' Market and the charming Village of St Jacobs. The local Mennonite and Amish farmers bring their fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, preserves, and Maple Syrup.
At its peak in the summer time, the market has 600 vendors selling their wares of crafts, baking, meats, cheeses Mennonite furniture and clothes.There are often musicians, singers and jugglers for your entertainment.
Home to a population of approx. 4,000 Old Order Mennonites who farm the surrounding countryside.
During summer every one is always wanting to take a break and visit places. St Jacob's is  an enjoyable destination which could rejuvenate one's energy. Highly recommended  to be visited with the family.  
St. Jacobs is also an artist's hub where one will find all kinds of arts and craft right from paintings to wood carvings, sculptures pottery done by locals artisans.The Mill Shops & amp; Exhibits at 1441 King Street North is worth a visit to see the arts of this small township,  "Hand made quilts" is a cherished craft of this town.
The Mennonite Story Visitor Centre is located at 1406 King Street. Here one can learn about the history, culture and faith of the Mennonite people of this area of Ontario. 


St. Jacob's is one of the best destinations to be visited with your family.
