Streetcar Developments is unveiling – Riverside Square. The newest master-planned development at Queen Street and the Don Valley.

Improved infrastructure

The design of the site seeks to put the "public" back in public space. Riverside Square will be built to maintain Queen Street’s mid-rise feel – buildings will only rise to 7-8 storeys along Queen Street, to seamlessly integrate Riverside Square within the surrounding buildings.

Further, Munro Street will be extended south of Queen in a ‘woonerf’ style, mixing pedestrian, cycle and other traffic - ending in a public plaza at its south end. This public plaza will be the heart of the new development, allowing for a bustling, pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use block.
Vibrant street life

All of these spaces will be animated by a mix of small and large retail spaces fronting along Queen St. and the new publicly accessible street. Presently, the company is looking at a range of uses, including: a grocery store, café, restaurant and general retail tenants – a truly urban neighbourhood must have a true mixture of offerings, so that everything you need is just steps from your door.

We’re excited about Riverside Square and are committed to helping shape the neighbourhood. To speak with a representative of Streetcar Developments, please feel free to contact me directly by email or phone at 416-268-9499.
