Fwd: January 2017 Announcement

Arts on the Credit: original, inspired excellence

Announcing some exciting new developments for Arts on the Credit, beginning this year.

"As Arts on the Credit continues to grow into the wonderful, organic organization it has become, we have tweaked it into something even more streamlined and effective. I am delighted to announce that we now have a vibrant volunteer committee of artists and business owners helping Elysia Prokopetz www.glass-butterfly.com and I move the organization forward as an independent arts organization; showcasing, promoting and mentoring local artists with high-end juried shows and community initiatives."

Some changes to note:
  • Arts on the Credit is now the umbrella organization, and will feature four main shows, Arts on the Credit Fine Craft and Arts Show in April, Jewels on the Credit in June, Arts on the Credit Tour in October and an Arts on the Credit Holiday Event in December.   The new shows will be introduced gradually over the next three years
  • Arts on the Credit, the Show is scheduled for April 8, 9, 2017 at the beautiful Waterside Inn
  • All shows will be juried during a specific period, then curated to ensure a spectacular and even representation of our local talent. Parameters for acceptance will now include work completed in the past two years
  • The members of the committee include Marie Payne, and Elysia Prokopetz.
  • Significant contribution has also been given to the organization by Tony Lolic of caneworks.ca , Debby de Groot of mdgassociates.com Sandra Robson of sandrarobson-artist.com and Sjon de Groot of sjondegroot.com

Launched in 2012, Arts on the Credit is now an independent arts organization showcasing, promoting and mentoring local artists with high-end juried shows and community initiatives.
