The VAM Children and Teens’ Spring Art Celebration

EMERGING ARTISTS TO BE SHOWCASED AT THE VAM CHILDREN AND TEENS' SPRING ART CELEBRATION

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Grab the kids and join the fun! Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) at Riverwood will stage a vibrant exhibition of emerging talent at its annual VAM Children and Teens' Spring Art Celebration. All are welcome to the event featuring over 250 creative works by VAM students aged 6 to 18.

The exhibition will run Saturday June 3 and Sunday June 4, 2017 from 9 am to 4 pm. VAM is located at 4170 Riverwood Park Lane, Mississauga, Ontario.  

FREE ACTIVITY: VAM will also offer free art-making activities for youth from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday June 3, 2017 and from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday June 4, 2017.
"We look forward to the VAM Children and Teens' Spring Art Celebration each year. The exhibition showcases the burgeoning creative energy of Mississauga's youth," explains VAM Arts Program Manager Lisa Robinson. "This event gives artists as young as six an opportunity to proudly present their work to the public. It's always a beautiful show and a wonderful chance to bring families and friends together to celebrate the artistic accomplishments of our youth. We look forward to seeing you all there!"    

PEOPLE'S CHOICE: Family and friends will vote for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Three special Prize Packs which will be awarded on Monday, June 5, 2017. The First place winner will also receive a complimentary week at VAM's Kids' Summer Art Camp or a Summer Teen Art Course.
